Galen Turner is the Maxfield Professor of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Louisiana State University in 1999. His primary research areas include graph theory, network analysis, matroid theory, and combinatorics, as well as engineering education. He currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center and National Director for Cyber Discovery.

Oneka Tiwanna Cummings received her B.S. in chemistry and M.S. in mathematics from Louisiana Tech University, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in computational analysis and modeling. Her research efforts involve computation studies of aqueous and ionic liquid interfaces. Apart from her primary area of research, her interest in improving graduate student life and experience led her to serve on the Graduate Student Council for the College of Engineering and Science, which was formed and tailored for this purpose.
