Session Description
This session is designed to disseminate strategies for incorporating the UN Sustainable Development Goals in engineering curricula and programs. The papers cover a wide array of topics that include connections among students’ knowledge of, and attitudes toward, sustainability and their career goals; tools for assessing student learning; and models that show the interconnected nature of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and can be used to prioritize them for engineering education settings.
This session is sponsored in part by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Committee on Sustainability—Formal Engineering Education Subcommittee, and is held in collaboration with the Minorities in Engineering, Community Engagement, Liberal Education/Engineering & Society, and Civil Engineering Divisions of ASEE.
