Internet of Things (IoT) with Machine Learning and new Digital Motor Robotics have been harnessed to provide students with inspiration, motivation, and rapid instruction in engineering fundamentals. UCLA and STMicroelectronics have collaborated in the successful deployment of Hands-On remote instruction at all university levels. This is enabled by new low cost, state-of-the-art hardware, owned by each student. This presentation is designed to assist in delivery of entirely remote, successful, hands-on instruction. This will describe the methods, platforms, remarkable student successes as well as the open source and now available guidance resources for instructors and students.
