Be advised there is a $150 nonrefundable application fee per workshop. This fee will need to be paid before the workshop can be submitted for consideration. This fee does not guarantee acceptance of your workshop application.
All applications are subject to review by the PIC Chairs in November. ASEE will notify organizers whether their workshop has been accepted or rejected after the PIC Chair meeting.
Workshops must be subsidized either through ticket revenue, sponsorship or other means. These means must be clearly identified during the application process.
All workshops will be ticketed through ASEE to track attendance. If your workshop is sponsored or will be subsidized by other means, assign a $0 ticket value. Ticketed information including title, description, location and amount is due with the Application.
All workshops will take place on Monday, July 26 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm PDT. Dates and Times are not flexible.
All workshop requirements, complete speakers names, must be included with the application or the Workshop will not be considered.
If Your Workshop is Accepted
Workshop organizers can get access to their sessions by logging into www.asee.org and clicking on Manage Sessions in the 2021 Annual Conference section of Upcoming Conferences.
From there you can update titles, descriptions, speaker info, etc.
All workshop organizers must be registered for the annual conference in order to conduct their workshop on-line
There will be no advance uploads on the platform this year. All sessions will be live
Handouts are the responsibility of the presenter and can be linked to the chat during your live session
No changes or additional requests of any type will be accepted after June 14, 2021.
